A girl, who got lost in the jungle, was searching for a butterfly and accidentally wandered into the jungle. She got lost to the point where she couldn't find her way back by night. As she was wandering around, she saw a large tree under which she thought she could sit.
She was sitting under the tree, but after a while, she heard some strange noises. She said to herself, 'What kind of noise is this? The jungle is already so dense, its night, and on top of that, these strange noises.
As the noises grew louder, avanya thought she should get up and go see what's happening. Avanya got up and slowly started moving forward, step by step. As she went a little further, she saw something moving behind the grass. As she moved the grass aside, she saw two large animals fighting each.
Avanya was shocked seeing all this. She took steps back due to fear and she was about to scream, but she managed to hold it back.
In front of her, two animals were fighting, and one of them had almost killed the other. But as soon as they heard Avanya's sound, both the animals started fighting more aggressively. Avanya hid behind the grass hiding herself, after a while, silence spread across. She came out from under the bushes and looked around.
Suddenly, she heard a manly pained groan. So, she cautiously approached the pit and looked in. To her surprise, she saw a human being lying there, covered in injuries.
She was shocked to see him, and she stared at him for a while, taking in his wounds, she thought those animals must have did this to him. After a few moments, she thought that she should help him.
The pit was quite deep, so Avanya carefully climbed down using a branch and slowly made her way to the man. She knelt beside him, her heart racing with fear. Summoning all her courage, she called out to him, " Can you hear me? Are you okay?
She thought, "I need to help him somehow, he might still be alive." Avanya placed her hand near his nose to check, and she felt his breath on her hand. She then said to herself, "He's still alive, he can still be saved. I should save him out of humanity, and maybe he'll even help me get out of here.'
Avanya took out a water bottle from her backpack and sprinkled water on the man's face. Slowly, he started regaining consciousness. Avanya, still fearful, unsure of what the man might do when he woke up. She wasn't sure who he was, what kind of person he was, or where he came from.
After some time, the man growled, " Who are you? And what are you doing here?"
Avanya said "I got lost in this jungle. I saw two animals fighting, and then I saw you fallen in this pit. So, I thought I'd help you. Who are you, and how did you get into this jungle?"
The man growled again, looking up he said, "I don't need your help." He winced in pain and tried to get up. She said, "Look, you can't even get up. Let me help you. Maybe we can help each other."
The man looked at Avanya again and said, 'I don't need your help, and I don't want your help my wounds will heal soon. I won't help you either.' He told her to leave.
That man tried to get up again, but he fell once more. Avanya saw him struggling and went a bit closer, holding his hand to help him up. The man then asked, "Why are you helping me? Who are you?".
Avanya replied, "I'm Avanya. I got lost in this jungle. I came here for a task, chasing a butterfly, but I ended up lost. I heard noises at night, so I came to check and found you lying here. I just want to help you, and maybe if you're willing, you can help me too.'"
The man asked, " you need help",Avanya replied, 'I need to get out of this jungle. Can you tell me the way out?'
he replied, "the exist is not that far, but i cant come with you". her eyes narrowed, "why don't you wanna get out from here? aren't you lost too?".
he looked at her replying, "i am also lost but... by my own choice"
"wait what-",he cut her sentence in mid and said, "shut up please".
The man ignored Avanya's words and began to examine his wounds instead.
Avanya asked the man, "Are you listening to me?" The man replied, "Why should I listen to you? You should leave this place' this jungle isn't safe."
Avanya said, "That's what I'm asking, what's the way out of this jungle? Tell me."
The man said, "I can't help you. Go find your own way."
she stood there for a while, unsure of where to go. After a while, the man said again, "Are you leaving or should I force you to leave?"
Avanya shouted, "I don't know the way out! How many times do I need to say it?", he galred at her, "just go... i don't care where".
Seeing the man struggling with his injuries, she went back to him and said, "You can still ask for my help. I won't refuse."
The man said, "I don't need your help. I already said that."
she handed him a handkerchief and said, "I'm not like you. I'm not rude or selfish. I help people for humanity's sake. Take this and clean your wounds."
The man glared at avanya, snatched the handkerchief from her hand, and began cleaning his wounds. After a while, he stood up and started walking away. Avanya ran after him, saying, "Wait! At least tell me the way out of this jungle i'll share my heavenly delicious cupcakes with you after we get out this jungle"
The man said, "god you are so unserious!. "
She asked, "You're human too right! Don't you have even little bit humanity left inside you?"
